Here is another dismaying fact for online dating and Facebook users. It seems ads or pop-ups can cause a dating profile to be created by using your public information through Facebook. Simply clicking even the "X" to close such a pop-up, will be acknowledged as a click-through agreement to the service.

In the article, a married woman had clicked on the "X" for the pop-up, thinking it will close the ad, but instead created a dating profile on her behalf. Zoosk's terms of use agreement states it can collect your public information through social networking websites, such as Facebook.

Facebook info sharing created Zoosk.com dating profile for married woman
