I think I finally have closure

So I ended up caving on NC and sent a request to my ex on a dating site saying "I just wanna be friends" because a notification popped up saying she was looking at my profile (obviously thinking about me lately).

 

She replied "Sorry, I don't think you're my type" via the list of auto-replies one can send.

 

So now I know it's official - she doesn't even want to talk to me. I now do not feel the need to say anything more: I'm not sad, I'm actually relieved. Had she accepted, it probably would have messed me up emotionally.

 

Now I can move on.
