Bottomless pics on date profile?

I already have a shirtless beach pic on my on-line dating profile. I decided to add a bottomless one. I didn't want to appear vain, it had to look natural and accidental. I enlisted an ex GF and her friend to help me. We set up a volleyball net and shot at 1st sun for privacy.

We scripted that I would jump up to spike a volleyball, while Tina would pull my shorts down "by accident", her friend would snap the pic. Trying to time all this was quite a chore, and Tina couldn't get the shorts down on most takes. She slightly injured me a few times. The task was difficult enough, it was made worse when I took an E.D. pill. After all...it was vital that the pic put my assets in the best light.

Finally we worked it out. I pulled my own shorts down and stood on one leg on a step ladder with a volley ball in my raised hand. Tina placed her hand grabbing my shorts. When we cropped the pic to remove the ladder, it looked like I was in mid-jump hitting the ball, and it appeared that my friend had accidently or perhaps deliberately pulled my shorts down as I leaped. I wore a well rehearsed expression of shock on my face. Although we took the pic in Sept, I waited till January to post. What can I say....I'm basically a modest man. I got many views and several (mostly positive) messages for the 6 days it was up. They pulled my pic for some odd TOS violation.

In it's brief life, the pic jumped up my profile views by 70%. Are such pictures a pro or con on someone's profile? I think pro. Remember this isn't some Ahole posing for it, this just an accident the happened to be caught on film.

I think I would have a problem dating a guy with no bottom.

Imagine the stares and looks of sympathy I would get when we walked down the street together..... :(

My butt is flat enough, so I do not have enough heiny to fill in for a bottomless date.

If you're looking for a relationship I'd say it's a total turn-off. When I did the online dating thing I 'looked' at the guys without clothes (hey I'm only human ;)) but I had no interest in dating them.

The more flesh on show the more of a poser he's likely to be - and posers aren't my type.

I was hoping it had the look of an accident, not posed. If you see a well equiped guy who isn't posing, wouldn't it attract you some?

If I saw a guy with a good body playing volleyball on the beach and his friend pulled down his shorts as a joke, I might be attracted, but a photo on a dating site - no, definitely not.

Think about it, whether the original photo was posed or an 'accident', it didn't get on his dating profile by 'accident' did it?

Lol... Are you just trying to get laid? That's the only reason I'd think a guy would post a bottomless pic. And by the way, it really doesn't matter whether it "looks" like an accident or not. Like the above poster said, everybody who looked at your profile isn't stupid. They can clearly see that you wanted everyone too see your a$$, being that you chose to post such a picture. And furthermore.... that seems like a desperate move to stage something like that (i'm not saying you ARE desperate... im saying that's the message it gives... OR that you are arrogant... one of the two). Anyway, I would never, not in a million years, seriously date someone with a pic like that. I'd look at the profile, think to myself "another dude looking for a quick lay", and move on.

What if the important parts were hidden by a black rectangle (which I'm sure Gold Pile did as a matter of commonly-understood dating site etiquette)? When I post a picture like that, I make sure to redact the "top secret" parts.

I think for most women that's a turn off. Women simply aren't as fascinated by genitalia as men are. One penis looks pretty much like all the rest. (Sorry, guys).

That you chose to post it shows you wanted women to look at your genitalia. It comes of as conceited (do you really think it looks different from all the others in any significant way?) and shows a fundamental lack of understanding of women.

They just aren't as turned on or intrigued by skin as men are. Not even close.

That you put so much effort into staging this useless bait really makes me wonder.

What were the injuries? Teeth marks? And did she come away injured, too? Black eyes?

Yeah, I'm sure that anyone looking at it would totally think it was a candid shot of a complete accident. There's nothing about that shot that could possibly look staged or posed. Don't worry, I think you're in the clear there, man. ;)

Wouldn't they wonder why you were so excited (the E.D. pill you took) in the middle of a volleyball game?

Even if it happened by accident, it was a choice to post it for all to see.

They'd probably just figure he was thinking of the volleyball scene from "Top Gun" with Maverick and Goose and Iceman and all those oiled, sweaty, tan, buff bodies, stretching and flexing and chest-bumping and swatting each other on the ass, out in the sun... Mmmmmm.

So let me get this straight.

You want to fake an accidental "pants"-ing, then leave it up on your profile?

How would that even begin to look like an accident? I mean, you leaving up on your profile just gives it all away. You'd be better off just posting a pic of your junk right in the camera with a caption reading "This is my dick, look at it."

I'm a fan of naked men. (Where's this pic, Goldpile?!) But I agree, there's something really disgusting about a man waving a few inches of skin around like that's ALL he is. It isn't enough of an offering sexually, and it's a bit degrading to all parties. That said... pics! ;)

No, you're right, that would be too obvious. But if you took it with a cell phone, that would be a little more credible. Isn't that how all the kids are doing it these days?

I have to say that I get a double-jolt from GP's threads. Half of the joy is just from the wonder that is GP himself, and the other half comes from new members who are experiencing, for the first time, the wonder that is GP.

Never change...

What makes you think it wasn't a polk dot?

We're talking about Gold Pile. I'm sure he requires more obscuration than a simple dot would offer. You should have more faith, Daphne. ;)

First off, PM all the women who responded pics of your wiener.

<----is a woman

Secondly, I am not really sure I would want to date someone whose profile pics included a bottomless one. Butt or dick, I do like a little anticipation. I want to find out about his wiener for myself, not have it shown to me like meat on the deli. "Does DDG want the thick and stout from a man who knows how to move it, or the long and slightly curved from the kinda nerdy guy?" Would be good to look at if I was wanting to jill off, that's about it.

I also don't think I would date someone who puts their dick all over the internet. Makes me think said dick has probably been all over town too.

Are you saying he's a brick house? Is this another sexual innuendo that just flew over my head?

They pulled my pic for some odd TOS violation.

Dear GP,

I'm sorry to regret but the picture of you and your dick has been "pulled"

Reason for pulling "Didn't meet the length requirements"

Sincerely,

Dating site management

I have no evidence either way. I'm just saying give him a bit of credit. The dating site must have seen some significant violation, or else they wouldn't have deleted the picture.
