deesgirl
Do you ever really get over your first real love? I'm not talking about first crushes or puppy love. I'm talking about someone you were in a LTR or were married to. If you are with someone else that you love, how often do you think about your ex? Have you found someone that you love as much or more, or will they always be the one you loved the most?
CurlyIam
YOu're lucky if you get your one time. Hopefully you meet it twice and second time you make it work if you're wiser. I did have a LTR and it's like he's always with me at the back of my head. It's supposed to fade away in time. Don't really think it does. Good luck to you.
hurtingandconfused
Do you ever really get over your first real love? Yes how often do you think about your ex? Every now and then. Remember you are thinking, it's all in your head. You have the power to block them. Have you found someone that you love as much or more, or will they always be the one you loved the most? Like I said, it's all in your head.
Author deesgirl
I don't think I phrased the question right. I was asking this about men, not myself. There isn't anyone from my past that I didn't get over.
Papillon
Men are the same. Men are as fragile or as strong as women. Men go through all the emotions that women do.
tac719
I love my wife more than anything. But my first love has never actually left my mind. I still have dreams (innocent) about her every now and then. I don't know why. I do know it is a fictitious thought process and the current truth about her is probably completely different. I think part of the problem was that I never really had closier with her. She and I remained good friends after I left for college, but I stopped contact with her after I met my first wife. I talked to her for about 3 hrs after I split with my ex after 9yrs. I kinda wish I hadn't because that has only helped her memory to remain. She was seeing someone so we never hooked up.
