never happend b4!! freaked out!!

im 22 years old and this morning i woke up because i felt wet, well turns out i pee'd the bed, just alittle i stopped myself before it got worse but still this has never happend, im embarresed and wondering what the f*ck? should i be concerned or could this be a one time thing? obviously if it happends more often ill go to the doctor but has this happend to anyone? i feel like a freakin kid, im even grossed out. has anyone ever peed in bed just cause you didnt wake up? what could have caused this ?

I did once when I was about 12. I had a dream that I got up and went into the bathroom and sat on the toilet, but in reality, I didn't. Like you, I woke up as soon as I realized what was happening but it was a little too late. It is a little embarassing but I wouldn't freak out about it. Maybe you had too much to drink before bed and you were sleeping really good.

I know that when you're ill –*like a lingering bug that has you zapped of energy – it's much easier to lose control of your bladder. In bed or out of it.

 

I've not peed in my bed in my sleep, but have had dreams where I believed I was awake and on the toilet, only to wake up when my bare butt touched the sheets!

 

are you on any kind of medication that would cause you to relax your muscles or anything?

Are you 100% sure it was pee? Females can have wetdreams too...

 

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it, but maybe make an appt with the Dr to have a check up, just to make sure all is okay. It could be you have a bladder infection, or the start of one.

I've never urinated in bed but I've had some serious dreams about having to go to the bathroom badly over and over again. Of course when I woke up, I had to run to the bathroom, lol. Perhaps you had one of these dreams and for some reason were unable to hold it.

It happened to me. Just once. I was seriously stressed out, and I guess that's what it must have been. I was obviously shocked at the time, but I had since forgotten about it. Thanks so much for the fond (albeit warm and moist) memory.

I used to pee my bed and was very ashamed of it. After seeing a psychiatrist I am still peeing my bed... But now I am proud of it.

See a doctor just to rule out diabetes.

 

I say this because my sister woke up in a wet bed one morning (she was 19) and went to the doctor because it was so out of the ordinary. The family physician sent her straight over to the hospital where she stayed for a week while they got her sugar under control. The wet bed was the only thing that prompted her to see a doctor.

 

That might not be what it is but it sure is worth looking into.

Last time I pee'd the bed for no reason was when I was 11 or 12 and I woke up in the middle of it, stopped and made it to the bathroom. I was having a dream that I was peeing too, which I think prompted me to wake up. More recently, however... I couldn't really control myself.

That happened to me once, I had a dream I was peeing and when I woke up I almost pissed myself and managed to hold it in (sorta) and sprinted to the bathroom.
