Mydish1
So anyway yesterday i met this girl through a mutual friend of ours. first off she's 4 years younger than me. So initially she was very shy/nervous...she's likely inexperienced in dating. Eventually we broke the ice and things started to get pretty comfortable quickly. But unlike other girls I met, we just had quick short convos with big gaps/pauses - It was more of a hassle thinking of things to say/ask...i made most of the effort. Anyway since we're different ages and in different stages of our lives, we didnt have much to talk about. There were a few things i found we had in common but that was pretty much it. Im sure on both sides, neither of us clicked/had chemistry. But we dont dislike or hate each other. I'd say our interest level is mediocre (well i can definitely speak for myself). Probably it was the way i asked or the low interest, but she rejected my invitation to lunch with a counter-offer for next week. ..no sweat, so i exchanged numbers and she seemed interested in getting mine. im not sure, is this worth pursuing? 'fake it till i make it'...and who knows she could grow on me? or is not worth it?
ImWithHim
Not worth it in my opinion. It's either there...or it's not.
blind_otter
It's not worth it, IMO.
JCD
Yeah, probably not worth it. If it was meant to be you would just talk for the sake of talking and feeling excited by the interaction. Then there are girls that you feel like you have to use a crowbar to pull something out of and it's just too much work. With me it was that I didn't really needed to share common interests with the girl but that talking to her made me happy. We could talk about anything and everything and make jokes along the way. Author Mydish1
hmm well i have a lunch date with her this weekend, ill see where it goes. I'd be a fool to say there wasnt anything there, there was a little something. But either way i could do with or without her.
