Guest Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 If a mm is treating the OW in despicable way (and his reasons may be that he feels guilty or she is rocking the boat that he was steering so skillfully), then I have seen alot of advice on this forum that the OW should go NC. Just cut him off because he must know he is being a jerk. I believe that he should be told (preferably in person), and the OW shouldn't get upset or hysterical or rant and rave, but ever so calmly tell him that she doesn't have to put up with his crap, that she deserves better treatment, that she understands that the situation is difficult all round BUT that all she ever did was love him and she cannot believe that he is behaving the way that he is. So she is going to take a rain check from all this, because he obviously has issues that he needs to deal with and he needs to take a long hard look at himself in the mirror. With that you just say good-bye and walk away and do not look back. I think that will give most mm food for thought. If you just go NC they may think you don't care or are looking for a way out anyway. I think you will get some of your self respect back if you do this. Link to post Share on other sites
