Overcoming Shy Books

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know some good self-help books that help overcome being shy on a personal level?

I know there's that one "Goodbye to Shy," but is there a better one out there?

A personal fave of mine that holds great sentimental value is "People Skills" by Robert Bolton. Changed my life, thats for sure.

I've never heard of that one. Good to hear that it changed your life.

Wow I guess those are the only ones that are out there that are good. That or shy people are to shy to read those books. O boy.

I never heard of it either until I picked it up off the bookshelf. It is easy to read and understand.

burning 4 revenge

I'd recommend The Simulcra by Jean Baudrillard.

Also good is Caligula:Reign of Blood

The only book that I read was something like "Become Your Own Therapist."

It was a good book and what was suppost to happen was by the time you were done reading it you were suppost to be a different and better person.

This isn't a book, but a website that's practically a book. I actually found it had more to say about getting over shyness (the writer used to be shy himself) then some sites I've seen that were written by psychologists. There's like 40 long articles on people skills in it. It's pretty systematic too about the topics it covers.
