Guest
I am seeing a guy a month now who just told me that he smokes pot at least 2 times a week. The reason he told me is that we had planned to go on an out of town trip and he said he would be planning to bring the pot with him to relax in the hotel room. at that point I had to say I wasn't going with him on the trip, because I didn't want to risk getting picked up for pot use. I mean if it was smelled through the hotel room door and police were called, I could get arrested, too, for allowing the pot to be smoked by him, right? No way I'm going down with him. Some questions: 1. If he can't go for one weekend without taking pot with him, isn't that the sign of addiction? he told me that you can't become addicted to pot, but I figured that's a line he's used a lot with women. 2. He's going on a 10 day business trip out of state...wouldn't it be in my best interest to call authorities there and warn him that he is bringing pot to the hotel? I mean, it sounds as if he could use a wakeup call. A 40 year old businessman should not be using pot 2 or more times a week. wouldn't being arrested help him see the light? he really had no apologies for smoking pot. He didn't want me to stop seeing him and was upset about that. but this whole thing irks me that what he thinks he's doing all the time is completely oK.
portableversion
UH heem I'm the original portableversion Lady dump this man and leave him alone! Don't detroy his life he could get fired.. do you know how easy it is for a 40yr old to find a new job. I think it would be tough. And besides grass is not like alcohol it's stupid that its illegal. Alcohol is legal and by far much more toxic and dangerous for human behavior. You have no business interferring with his personal life you've only known him for a month!! And besides just because he's a business man means nothing my wife's a lawyer and she seen the stats-- many many lawyers are cronic abusers of cocaine and alcohol and they wield tremendous amounts of wealth and power..i.e. they are very successful people. I personally know of professors who've written books and published books while they were high. Dope does not make someone a looser in life. If you are really opposed to it just make it clear that if he wants to date you that he needs to quit if he does not want to quit just find someone else.. Jeez you are creepy for just knowing him for a month.. this is america for cripes sake not the freakn' gestapo!!
