Are you assuming that the bedroom is upstairs?

HAHAHA -- Seriously magichands - sometimes you crack me up!

And to me, every bedroom is upstairs! I live in the clouds...so I can always see the silver linings!

Why bother?

True. I forgot about all the extra shining they would get.

Glad you like my name! ;)

It's OK, I suppose. But it's not like you own the island, or anything.

Yes but try and make it easier than just that. Put it in the context of talking. Relaxed - so neither of you feel put on the spot.

It's hard waiting for the right moment..thats why I wished I had known he was thinking of going out to dinner tonight (I wouldn't have had McD's!)...we haven't completely settled on what to do when the lease is up...just said we seem to work well as roommates...he mentioned how the kids don't have their own room when they are here to visit, and how it was better with his Ex in a 2 bedroom because they shared a bedroom. I said if only we could afford a bigger place. Then he said Do they have 3 bedrooms here? I said no, and the conversation was somehow changed there..so it's left at that.

I see. Sometimes. Right. Hmmm. Sometimes. OK.

Thanks. I guess. You know what? Sometimes you give good advice.

Look, tough love time. Don't make yourself convenient to this guy. If he wants you, he'll let you know, if only through flirting and body language. If he's willing to fall asleep in your presence, he's not that into you so if you really want him, best to get him to notice you. For example, the two of you are coming in and out of the bathroom, accidentally brush up against him and see if he reacts. Wear perfume that he likes. Appeal to him subliminally. You don't need to wear teeny-weeny skirts or low-cut blouses. If the guy wants you, a gunny sack won't stop him.

What a fantastic idea! Be careful when wearing leather, though - any sudden movements can make it rip.

Last time we were alone, a rare occasion because of our crazy schedules...he stayed up late to watch movies with me. He had ditched some other girl that night and hung out with me instead. We flirted a little, but didn't run with it i think out of awkwardness. I feel asleep first and he almost seemed disappointed. His job hours really screw with his sleep schedule too. Tonight he probably figured nothing happend last time so why would it now? cuz I fell asleep fast this time...but I know how his work hours just kill him sometimes..

Could be true but you do live together so realize that it could be a really bad situation if you get involved and it doesn't work. So he could have already resigned himself to not look at you "that way".

I agree with all of this - and it IS true sexy clothes aren't necessary. Just make sure you look cute/appealing in whatever you have on. Showered and smelling heavenly.

That's much better. You're fantasising about the British accent, though. Sorry.

Start subtly - just leave a blindfold and bull whip on the table or a riding crop and handcuffs next to the TV remote...

Yes, yes, yes! Have you ever thought about converting to naturism? Give it a try for a week - you won't be disappointed.

You've got it. If all works, you won't be clean for long... ;)

Uh uh, no more excuses. You've got work to do if you really want this guy. Also, be prepared if he's not interested and not be crushed by it. If he's not the right guy, there's plenty out there who might be more suitable. Now stop fixating and get working. :)

The Seinfeld episode about this is true - some normal every day things you do not want to see someone do naked!

oh and I don't wear teeny tiny skirts or anything of the nature..I wear perfume all the time. I don't doubt that I'm unactractive in my own eyes...when we first moved in, HE was always the one accidentally "getting close" to me, like hovering over me at the computer. But those kinds of things have disipated. Lately, no girls are calling him and he hangs out alone with me after hearing me talk about how "lonely" I get. What if he took it as a hint? I don't talk about being lonely while we are alone on the couch though. Somehow that screams desperate to me, so I don't do it...only over the phone or something like that.

Truly. You LIVE together. You'll have plenty of opportunities to present yourself appealingly right in front of his face. Just make the most of every one of them.

And if he doesn't move on it - you can have the conversation.

And then if he doesn't move on it realize there are SO MANY more out there.

Ahhhhh the world of being single and sampling the plethora again! It is fun finding the right one. Just remember to enjoy the journey.

I wouldn't talk about being lonely at all.

You say you enjoy spending time with him - so enjoy it. Have fun. Visibly have fun.

Perfume is THE greatest - get some new perfume - or sample some at a store - and put a little on you neck - or sample some at a store - then when you see him pull your hair away from your neck and say, "do you think this smells good on me" - he'll have to lean in. Think about similar gestures you can make and just start putting them into action.

If he was doing those "getting close" things and didn't get any reaction he may have thought you weren't interested.

asking him to smell my neck..gosh that sounds forward...

He mentioned a place that he'd like to have dinner at tonight...I was thinking of asking him if he's like to talk about the lease over dinner one night..or..

we have a mutual friend getting married next month. I thought of asking him to be my date. I could easily take an acquaintence guy as a date, but I don't wanna look like I'm trying to make him jealous. And if he takes a girl, I would be very jealous for sure..but I'd manage to have fun still beleive me:D
