luvtoto
Hey all!! I got hit on Monday, at work, by a nice-lookin' guy that came into buy something. Where I work, we never have single men come in to buy stuff! Anyways, when I was helping him, he was super-nice, and I felt a spark between us. Definitely an attraction thing going on. But, when he tried to strike up a conversation, I blew it like usual. Anyways...... He came back in today! Three days later! He was cleaned up but still looking gruff. Ya know the type. He didn't try too hard, but still looked attractive. Anyways, he wanted me to make a photocopy of his driver's license. Right then, a little old lady comes walking in the door. She recognized him. So, while I was over by the copier making his copy, this lady asked him a ton of questions. Like, wwhat he's been doing lately, if he was married, where he lives now. Haha! Jackpot! It was awesome! I found out that he IS single AND available, but keeps pretty busy because he is self-employed with his own construction business. wow. Talk about breaking the ice. Why couldn't I do that? It was obvious that he was interested in me. We both get so flustered around each other. So anyyyyywayyyys, I caught his name, and two of my co-worker's knows him from highschool. They both said he's a really good guy. My co-worker says he can break the ice for us. He thinks we should all go out on a double date. So, I'll keep ya'll posted.
Art_Critic
Why couldn't I do that? Because she didn't want to bang him which meant that she was easier going... You need to drop the idea that they are some dateable/screwable hunk and just walk up to them and speak to them as if they were your next door neighbor and you are meeting them for the first time. Art_Critic
By the way.. good luck. the fact you know someone that knows him will help out.. On another note : If I came in and asked if you would photocopy Mr Wiggles.. Would you ?.. I might need a copy to show around some day

You need to drop the idea that they are some dateable/screwable hunk and just walk up to them and speak to them as if they were your next door neighbor and you are meeting them for the first time. Well, the first time he came in, we both got so flustered that my receptionist commented on it when he left. I haven't felt that giddy in yeeeaarss!!! Like, where the hell did this guy come from? She said I should have been more forward with my flirting, but he got the idea I was interested in him. That's why he came back! We are the most expensive place in town to get a photocopy made. He didn't have to come to my work again. Yea!! By the way.. good luck. the fact you know someone that knows him will help out.. This is exactly how I wanted to meet someone. Ya know, the old fashioned way. Actually, these last few months, I seriously just quit looking all together. Just been keeping myself super busy! On another note : If I came in and asked if you would photocopy Mr Wiggles.. Would you ?.. I might need a copy to show around some day I thought you'd never ask. Now smile for the camera! Who knows how it will turn out. But, at least there is a little excitement in my life. I have a new friend that I've been talking to. Went to lunch with her today. We talked for an hour and a half. We have tons in common. She said that before she met "the one", she used to push a lot of men away. Was a complete bitch to them. They would just piss her off by their neediness. She was a bit of a man-eater. Then, she met her husband. He broke down all her walls and eventually...he wouldn't take no for an answer. He just took things slow with her, and didn't push himself into her life. He took his time to get to know her. They are married and have a child. She is very happy now. I remind her of the way she used to be. "Barrett", ; spoiled, bi-tendancies; but strong family background......don't ask me how I know... Very interesting, Moose. By the way, how do you know that?
