knaveman Posted March 10, 2007 Share Posted March 10, 2007 So, I have spent most of my life single. I can count on less two hand the number of girlfriends I have had in my life. I may be a bit shy at times but after a couple of pints of liquid courage I am a chatty as a teenage girl with her own phone. What I am saying is I generally have not too much trouble meeting women. However, lately I have a hard time even making eye contact with them. I either feel too old to even consider them or I think that they think I am some sort of creepy guy. I have taken to not really even looking at women because I don't know what is going on. At the bar everything is as normal as needs to be but anywhere else I feel like a creepy perv. What's up with that? The only thing that has changed it I turned 30 and quit smoking. It's the smoking isn't it? Any thougths or am I just a basket case? Link to post Share on other sites

With that sense of humor I am sure you can be enticing to women. Humor - witty repartee - is a complete plus. Are you only chatting up 21 year olds? - I mean you are 30. So 24, 25, 26, are REALLY close in age and because women mature faster than men they would probably be a great match for you. The feeling like they see you as creepy - you are probably wrong - but if you feel you are being creepy then you may come across that way. Just relax. I am pretty sure it's all due to the whole "turning 30" thing. Thanks for all the feedback, I guess I shouldn't worry about everything so much but if I didn't then I wouldn't have an excuse to drink.
