I'm going through it right now, with someone I've known for 10 years. It's very disappointing and sad, but it's life. We should almost just live life on constant look-out and expect that everyone has the ability to hurt you. Kind of like driving, they say to always be prepared and expect every other driver to cut you off or pull out in front of you. if your prepared you'll be able to hit the breaks before you get hurt.

I live by that analogy myself to some degree. At work, I have the letters "WYB" taped onto my monitor as a reminder to myself everyday. No one knows what it means but me. It reminds me to keep my guard up at all times and to 'Watch Your Back'!
