whichwayisup
Sandpaper won't help? Nope. When I was a kid, one of my friends tried picking off a beauty mark that was near her upper lip. She managed to pull it off, it bled like crazy...But, it came back. Sorry, sounds like you're sheeyt out of luck with the freckles. There to stay!
IpAncA
There's nothing wrong with freckles. I have them on my body and small ones under my eye area. Mine however are mostly sun spots.
Realness
freckles are cute on chicks.. are you a redhead?
bluetuesday
i have freckles and i'm adorable. freckles are really cute, and since you can't get rid of them anyway, you should start loving them. they're here to stay. why would someone aspire to be ordinary - dare i even say... plain?? people with no freckles can't find upsidedown star constellations on their arms or play join the dots on their knees to make baby animals. remember in harry potter? dumbledore (god rest his soul) had a scar which was a perfect replica of the london underground on his right knee. you see? body weirdness can be functional as well as really cool. okay, it's not exactly the same. but freckles are lovely, i promise you. Lights
Anyone know how to get rid of freckles? Would a chemical peel help? Why do you want to get rid of freckles? It's merely how your particular body happens to produce melanin. To me it seems to make as much sense as me asking "How do I get rid of my tan color?". If you're bent on finding out more, there is information out there about freckles... http://www.medicinenet.com/freckles/article.htm
Pink Amulet
Awww, freckles! I always wished I had freckles You can buy fading cream, I have seen it at the chemist for a ridiculous price. I don't have any idea if it works or not. I don't think a chemical peel will help because as the previous poster said it is caused by melanin which is deeper than the skin that is burnt off in a horrible chemical peel. tragicglands
Anyone know how to get rid of freckles? Would a chemical peel help? Try applying lots of different tongues. One may work.
Shulky
No sweetie don't use a chemical peeler you'll just hurt youself. I'm certain you don't need extravagant beauty aides, but face paints work for a little while (you didn't specify how long you wanted to be rid of them.) Also a "gamma blood transfusion" if you don't mind having green skin (and hair and eyes) instead
Author Motor35
Thanks for the tips, y'all! I would love to have clear skin. I've had freckles forever and they have faded since I was a kid. But you are right, they are here to stay. I guess they are ok and some people really like them. My mom used to tell me they were fairy kisses. Silly, huh?

Lonestar
There's a laser treatment you can get on your face which removes fine lines AND freckles. They could possibly come back with the sun.
Amontillado
My mother had thousands of freckles and I won't hear a word said against them. Enjoy and cherish them, and expect everyone you meet to do the same.
