MotherGooze
There is this guy and I think he really likes me, because he's always looking at me and pretty friendly and well a friend of his has already told me that he likes me very much, but that he's just really shy and he doesn't think I'm interested. Well, I am! But i think I'm even more shy then he is. I want to make sure he really likes me and even so, I don't know if I can make the first move. I'm normally not shy, but he's different, he makes me all blushy and makes me weak in the knees! What do I do?
alphamale
getting two shy people to hook up is rough. maybe you can both utilize go-betweens or something.
Author MotherGooze
if I would just know how he feels I could maybe make a move, if I can uhm...get some more courage or something. But I don't wanna look like a pushy woman or something.
Yamaha
One of you must overcome your shyness if you both want a chance at love. If you both sit back and wait on the other it may never happen. You seem to want this alot so yuo may have to be the one to step on out. Once you do it won't be so hard and isn't the waiting killing you? Just tell yourself " I'm going to let him know I like him". If after you tell him he still doesn't make a move then he isn't the guy for you, shy or not.
Author MotherGooze
Thing is we were talking a couple of weeks ago and I asked him what he did in his free time. He said he liked making sculptures, and I said that I would love to do some painting in the same academy, but I didn't have anough info and stuff. He invited me to come to some kind of gallery there; so I could get the info. But I wonder if he just wanted to invite me there, or he just wanted to help out. I wonder if I should go.... TYASAFAHICSI
Not the old "I like sculptures" line again! LOL Seriously, just ask him out and go from there. The shyness will wear off!

Hitman10000
Hiking/Action date or Group Dating. Focus on fun. Some people in this thread don't know jack about introvert dating. Coffee dates? Man, that's fine for two jibbering extroverts in the beginning, but for introverts it will be very awkward.
Kali
Assuming you like each other then just figure out some way to get on a date with him. When you are on the date it will be awkward. Suck it up and push on. Some silences won't kill you. If it goes okay (and don't be too insecure about assessing how it went) then go out again. Eventually you'll get comfortable around each other and your natural attraction for each other will carry you through. My first date with my gf was pretty awkward, but we stuck it out because it was so obvious we were compatible in spite of that.
