luvtoto
Put this into perspective for me please. I am a "label watcher", and I have a question. I am a healthy eater. When I want a snack, I prefer roasted soy nuts, pretzels, sunflower seeds. Pretty healthy habits. But one bad habit...a few times a week, I'll drink a beer or two in the evening. Mostly for the taste, but it also relaxes me. So...anyways. Here's the label on one can of LIGHT beer (per 12 fl. oz): Calories - 110 Carbs - 6.6 grams Protein - .9 grams Fat - 0 grams Seriously, how unhealthy is this for me? Please enlighten me here. I see no fat, calories seem low, protein grams are healthy. (?) Are the carbs really that bad for me? Also, if the calories and the fat are so low, then why are the carbs so high? I don't get that....

LUVTOTO (note correct spellin): A few beers (or any alcoholic drink) a few times a week is good for you. The alcohol thins you blood and reduced the chance of stroke or clots or heart attacks. Drinking any more than 5 or 6 drinks per week probably becomes detrimental. I think the carbs come from the alcohol but I'm not sure. Actually, if you want the best benefits you should drink red wine, but lite beer is ok too. I just skip all that and go directly to the jack daniels.

johan
Guess it looks like I have nothing to worry about here. Nope nothing. Except for our opinions of you. And the fact that beer kills. I assume you don't like to be able to see your toes anyway.

If you are so worried about what you eat, exercise on top of all that.
