Author pricillia
Me too! After the winter I got lazy. I'm going to start walking daily. I'm going to start doing yoga daily as well. Eat more salads, fruits and try different veggies as side dishes. I think also though that you have to be in the right mindset... For me I think I work too much which does nothing for my physical and emotional well being. If I continue to work this much then I have to have a schedule for the good stuff, essential stuff, heck I should have that going anyway. thinking thinking...
knaveman
I started doing this just after Xmas. I found that setting a goal and working toward just that one thing helps keep me on track. I started with cutting out alcohol and junk food for one month( while exercising at least three times a week) Done. Now am focused solely on getting those elusive six-pack abs. After that, we will see. I recomend not joining a gym and starting with a few things you can do at home with little or no investment. Try Pilates or Yoga followed by some sit-ups and push-ups then go for a walk. Get in the routine before you try going all hardcore. I really recomend Pilates (for men too) fifteen bucks you can get a dvd and if you do it several times a week for about three weeks you will start to see results. For diet, cut out the sugar and fast food. Don't be another fat American. We eat way too much sugar and just crap in general. Spend thirty minutes cooking real food at home, if you multitask you can clean the kitchen and some of the house at the same time. Also, set aside time to exercise, half hour, hour, whatever. Just concentrate only on exercise, eliminate as many other distractions as possible. Listen to some music too, that helps me. Just some thoughts. I have really got into health and exercise lately.
