They are both awful options, but the more you're attached to a bad man the more dangerous he is for you. For example, if you're not particularly attracted to the MM, it's better to sleep with him that with the ex-BF. Or if you're in love with the MM and don't care about your ex anymore then it's safe for you to go out with the ex and keep your mind off the MM.
