Guest
Does anyone know anything about emotional intimacy and committment? I cant find anything on google. I'm just wondering if a person who has had a history of bad short-term relationships will get bored or eventually become smothered and leave again. Is there a pattern for this? BeachBlonde
Speaking from experience, I've had many short-term relationships where I've left because of boredom. But for me, I wasn't really interested enough in a relationship with these men-- I wasn't in love. However, the tables have turned, and I'm now in a long-term relationship with a man I'm crazy about. So I think it's possible for someone to be in a long-term relationship, even with a history of short flings. BUT, I've seen people that always leave after they get bored-- most of them have a case of the 'grass is greener' syndrome, and a lot of them have fear of commitment and other commitment issues.
