true..... but not nearly as humour packed.

;)

I know.

*sigh*

I wish these frivolities didn't have the significant impact they do.

Laughing is so much more fun.

If we could just be sure they'd leave it all at home and not try to push it onto others or try to orchestrate a society that is completely based on their own views life would be a lot more fun for everyone.

... it's full of christians and all the cool people are in hell.

This is a really good question. However the premise is that you have to sacrifice your whole life in order to go to heaven... you are not really a genuinely innocent person. So when you got to heaven, you can drink, do drugs, and f*ck whomever you want... No? Then why go to heaven? Just so I don't get cooked in a big boiling pot? Hey, I am not religious so I know I am not going anywhere except the worms' stomachs, but you who will go to heaven or hell, email me and say how it is... :laugh:

There is no sex, drugs, alcohol, rock music (decent bands, anyway), or the like in Heaven, its true. You spend all your time in the presence of the Lord, basking in his glory and praising him. And it never, ever gets old--which is a good thing, because it lasts FOREVER.

It's funny how just about everything that people do for fun while alive is totally absent from Heaven, which is the Disneyland of the afterworld. Actually, that isn't entirely true: Revelation 12:7-10

"7And there was war in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the; and the fought and angels, 8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in Heaven. 9And the Great Dragon was cast out, that Old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the Earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, 'Now is come Salvation, and Strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the Power of His Christ: for the Accuser of our Brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God Day and Night.'"

Wars can happen in Heaven. I don't want to go someplace that has wars when I am dead.

The rational answer is Valhalla. Thor be praised!

Too bad you don't see what a joke that really is!

:lmao:

You WON'T be in charge of the entire world because you subscribe to the religion that millions of other people think is entirely wrong - and vice versa.

Hence religious doctrine being an incredibly ridiculous way to live your life.

Now if rational thought would be the foundation - and religion just an additional option like going to college or not going to college - well then the world would be much easier to communicate and more peaceful in general.

But you my friend have already singled yourself out as irrational - so dream away.

YES! Praise Thor!

I can't wait to get Valhalla (or Val-hall)!

"He is strong! If I die, I have to go before him, and he will ask me, 'What is the riddle of steel?' If I don't know it, he will cast me out of Valhalla and laugh at me." --- Conan the Barbarian

Hey if I could do it - I'd quote movies back to those that post scripture.

At least we know that a person actually says what they have said in a movie. It is a verifiable quotation and means just as much!

So you praise God while alive and continue when you go to heaven? Wow! That's really my idea of having fun. :confused: I can't get myself to do some work, cuz I am addicted to praying to God... and when we go to bed, my husband wants sex, but I can't stop thinking of God and how sinful sex... yuck... sex..

Yesterday night Lord put this into my heart, this so bless me

"dodge dirty balls threw by other person

Dirty balls: bitterness, belittle, hatred, unbelief, hardened heart, in a word garbage.....

Catching these dirty balls is not out of love, but set our mindset to a carnal level because these dirty balls are contagious. They themselves maybe not know they are throwing these dirty balls.

but seems you all already knew this:laugh: , I am just excited about this and want to share.

We can give all our burden to Lord, Lord's yoke is light

Thanks Lord so much for our sound mind, not hardened heart by this world :)

Lk 10:21(1)At that time Jesus was filled with joy by the Holy Spirit and said, "Father, Lord of heaven and earth! I thank you because you have shown to the unlearned what you have hidden from the wise and learned. Yes, Father, this was how you were pleased to have it happen.

10:22 (*)"My Father has given me all things. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."

Acts 2:4(1)They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to talk in other languages, as the Spirit enabled them to speak.

Acts 13:52(1)The believers in Antioch were full of joy and the Holy Spirit.

John 14:26 The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you.

14:27 "Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.

Satan causes incest..... neat.

Now really if god inflict or allows injury and illness as a final action to cause one to believe in god.... well that is kinda forcing it. Don't you think?

Sorry I don't believe in blaming or putting the responsibility of the deeds of man on a mythical creature named Satan.... however I will tell the electric company that Satan made me not pay my bill - so of course they should forgive me for that right?

I am kinda diggin' this Satan thing..... I can see all kinds of ways to get out of stuff in the name of Satan. Maybe I will substitute "My Poptart spoke to me and made me stick a fork in my husbands head"..... yeah thats the ticket. :lmao: :lmao:

and if you are speaking of AIDS and sexual sins...... we can go ahead now and just step outside and talk about this subject. Honey you have no clue.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Also called: Sexually transmitted infections, STDs

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are infections that you can get from having sex with someone who has the infection. The causes of STDs are bacteria, parasites and viruses. There are more than 20 types of STDs, including

· Chlamydia

· Gonorrhea

· Herpes Simplex

· HIV/AIDS

· HPV

· Syphilis

· Trichomoniasis

Most STDs affect both men and women, but in many cases the health problems they cause can be more severe for women. If a pregnant woman has an STD, it can cause serious health problems for the baby.

If you have an STD caused by bacteria or parasites, your health care provider can treat it with antibiotics or other medicines. If you have an STD caused by a virus, there is no cure. Sometimes medicines can keep the disease under control. Correct usage of latex condoms greatly reduces, but does not completely eliminate, the risk of catching or spreading STDs.

Glad to see you are up on the sexual information. -- Let me be the first to tell you reading about it isn't nearly as fun as doing it.

As far as "the wages of sin"

What of the babies that are born with AIDS? What was their sin?

Or the wife -- let's make her a good Christian - in fact a GREAT one by your standards, and her husband brings her home a STD from an affair? What was her sin? She did nothing wrong?

What of the hemophiliac who has never had sex and gains AIDS from a life saving blood transfusion? What is his sin?

Hence God -- your God -- is arbitrary and unbelievable.

And I can not say this enough:

I didn't mean ALL suffering though.....Moose turn his suffering into blessings for OTHERS. Many Christians turn their scars into stars for others, and give glory to God. But as a adult, if we sin agaist God's commandments, we BEAR the consequences. You want to deny, this will do you no good in the end.

Job's suffering is NOT because of sin. But he made a very good exemple for us. His nakedness attitude. Many people always think others owe them something, think God owe them something, so they complain, whine, talk negatives. But Job think God own everything in the earth, but Job himself doesn't own anything, Job thought himself just a steward of God. God give him everything, and has every reason to take everything away from Job.

It is a very positive attitude. Job always appreciate, not complain. It is a positive attitude to approach life.

Forgetting that god and Satan got together just to mess with Job...

You are correct about that attitude, but you don't need god to have it.

Because I know the Universe is indifferent to my existence, I know that if Iget sick, or a loved one does it is a random occurrence, or at least was brought on by genetics or bad diet, or whatever. But you make the most of what you can, because this is the only shot you've got. Why spend your precious life worrying about 'why me?" or trying to imagine reasons for what happened to you. Move on and enjoy what you can, while you can.

No god needed for any of that attitude.

Psalms :laugh:

33:1 You godly ones, shout for joy because of the Lord!

It is appropriate for the morally upright to offer him praise.

33:2 Give thanks to the Lord with the harp!

Sing to him to the accompaniment of a ten-stringed instrument!

33:3 Sing to him a new song!

Play skillfully as you shout out your praises to him!

33:4 For the Lord’s decrees are just,

and everything he does is fair.

33:5 The Lord promotes equity and justice;

the Lord’s faithfulness extends throughout the earth.

34:15 The Lord pays attention to the godly

and hears their cry for help.

34:16 But the Lord opposes evildoers

and wipes out all memory of them from the earth.

34:17 The godly cry out and the Lord hears;

he saves them from all their troubles.

34:18 The Lord is near the brokenhearted;

he delivers those who are discouraged.

34:19 The godly face many dangers,

but the Lord saves them from each one of them.

34:20 He protects all his bones;

not one of them is broken.

34:21 Evil people self-destruct;

those who hate the godly are punished.

34:22 The Lord rescues his servants;

all who take shelter in him escape punishment.

LH- you still have some reading to do. What about people who get sick from blood transfusions? And you dodged IGs questions about the wives who get STDs from their WH...- they are innocent too.

You made your bed you lie in it is an exceptionally narrow and callous way of looking at STDs. And all disease for that matter.

Sure, some people who suffer from them have made some bad choices.

But many people who make the same bad choices DONT get infected, so how is that fair?

There is hell and heaven. YES, we know that. so we tell people to turn back from their sins.

YES, there is a loving and living God, and He don't owe you anything

If you don't know there is a hell, don't call people who really knows "narrow or ignorant", because you are the ignorant one

You belong to this world, you cannot see and understand what is Holy Spirit, you cannot understand God, but attitude of humble will not do you harm

“Walk softly and carry a big stick.”

These two statements are the two biggest rules: do not catch the dirty balls from others and deal with THEIR frustration - as they will become your own. But since somehow you have to defend yourself from them , don't beat them (in that case you're catching them) - just prove in advance that you're stronger than them. Or prove it later. People don't respond well to mind games, They want to see that you're big and strong, that they should fear you.

What about the healthy infants that became crippled because the delivering physician used forceps wrong? Now you have a cripple for life… because of one mistake.

What about the man shot for 20 cents?

What of the senior citizen that gets punched in the face a few times for her purse?

You could go out for eggs and bacon and get hepatitis too.

People are victims of other people in this life all the time.

Life is full of mess and sin, we are all caught up in it. None of us are exempt from it.

It rains on the just and the unjust alike.

This is not Heaven…. This is a world full of sinful men…
