Love Hurts
These two statements are the two biggest rules: do not catch the dirty balls from others and deal with THEIR frustration - as they will become your own. But since somehow you have to defend yourself from them , don't beat them (in that case you're catching them) - just prove in advance that you're stronger than them. Or prove it later. People don't respond well to mind games, They want to see that you're big and strong, that they should fear you. The Whole Armor of God 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, When we seek the Kingdom of God first all these things will be added to us.That is more than we can imagine. Heaven and earth bring forth a new concept, one that is new and different from what we once thought. The sword of the spirit is the word of God. I am armed in the Sprit… spiritually I am strong. I alone can send 1000 demons to flee.. in the name of Jesus. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. I armed and ready.

lonelybird
Hence religious doctrine being an incredibly ridiculous way to live your life. Yes, flesh cannot comprehend the spiritual thing. and you belong to this world unless you repent. flesh is temporary, but soul is forever. spiritual infants, not formed yet
lonelybird
Satan causes incest..... neat. Now really if god inflict or allows injury and illness as a final action to cause one to believe in god.... well that is kinda forcing it. Don't you think? Sorry I don't believe in blaming or putting the responsibility of the deeds of man on a mythical creature named Satan.... however I will tell the electric company that Satan made me not pay my bill - so of course they should forgive me for that right? I am kinda diggin' this Satan thing..... I can see all kinds of ways to get out of stuff in the name of Satan. Maybe I will substitute "My Poptart spoke to me and made me stick a fork in my husbands head"..... yeah thats the ticket. :lmao: and if you are speaking of AIDS and sexual sins...... we can go ahead now and just step outside and talk about this subject. Honey you have no clue. Yes, there is Satan who knows the weakest spot in human heart, who is invisible, who is a big lier, who use people flesh desires to set them into traps, who talk negative things into your mind, who use past hurt to trap people so that they cannot find their destiny, who use of people's short-sight, who use undesirable situation to make people believe that they have no hope no future, who make people's heart harden and cruel, who rob people's joy, who don't want you to find God Believe or not, I've heard Satan laugh, a scream laugh when He saw me tortured (long ago). but when I called Lord Jesus, He drove away my fear, guided me into my destiny. Nobody treated me like Lord treated me, He loves me unconditionally. and He loves you! when you surrender to him and invite Him into your heart, He will guide you and love you forever until the end of the world. Lord Jesus defeated Satan. and Lord give us tools to defeat Satan, no, Satan already is under our feet, just we need to BELIEVE and use our FAITH. Nothing can stop us to hope, nothing can talk us out of our promised land. We live by faith, not by sight. We are stable, sound, rejoice because our Lord is strong rock, we rooted in Him deeply that no wind can blow us away. Praise Jesus

RecordProducer
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. I am not religious at all, but these statements were written by people guided by their own life experience and knowledge of the human nature. Evil exists, I always say that. Nobody can explain rationally why people kill, rape, and destroy massively. The best solution they came up with is "they are sick." Sick from what? You call it Satan, I call it evil, which is part of nature and exists for whatever stupid purpose. But it's uncontrollable, animalistic evil - a bad spirit that wanders through the history of humanism. Frankly, I think it's nature's huge error - a side product of fast evolution in humans. I always knew this and I always knew that I can;t fight the evil by defeating one or two individuals. I should let it go and reconcile... run away and save myself, my soul. I should remove myself from the situation where evil resides. I am not sure they don't know what they're doing... but I am sure of one thing: I will not forgive them! RecordProducer I saw your post about cops, know you are frustrated now. abut forgiveness, here is a story in Bible, is an eye opener for me, so when I feel it is difficult to forgive someone, then I will think of this story Matthew 18:21 (*)Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, if my brother keeps on sinning against me, how many times do I have to forgive him? Seven times?" 18:22 (*)"No, not seven times," answered Jesus, "but seventy times seven, (s) 18:23 because the Kingdom of heaven is like this. Once there was a king who decided to check on his servants' accounts. 18:24 He had just begun to do so when one of them was brought in who owed him millions of dollars. 18:25 The servant did not have enough to pay his debt, so the king ordered him to be sold as a slave, with his wife and his children and all that he had, in order to pay the debt. 18:26 The servant fell on his knees before the king. 'Be patient with me,' he begged, 'and I will pay you everything!' 18:27 The king felt sorry for him, so he forgave him the debt and let him go. 18:28 "Then the man went out and met one of his fellow servants who owed him a few dollars. He grabbed him and started choking him. 'Pay back what you owe me!' he said. 18:29 His fellow servant fell down and begged him, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you back!' 18:30 But he refused; instead, he had him thrown into jail until he should pay the debt. 18:31 When the other servants saw what had happened, they were very upset and went to the king and told him everything. 18:32 So he called the servant in. 'You worthless slave!' he said. 'I forgave you the whole amount you owed me, just because you asked me to. 18:33 You should have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you.' 18:34 The king was very angry, and he sent the servant to jail to be punished until he should pay back the whole amount." 18:35 And Jesus concluded, "That is how my Father in heaven will treat every one of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart." This story means God forgave us many large sinns, yet we still hold little sinns others done to us. 5:13 For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge your flesh, but through love serve one another. 5:14 For the whole law can be summed up in a single commandment, namely, “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” 5:15 However, if you continually bite and devour one another, beware that you are not consumed by one another. 5:16 But I say, live by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh. 5:17 For the flesh has desires that are opposed to the Spirit, and the Spirit has desires that are opposed to the flesh, for these are in opposition to each other, so that you cannot do what you want. 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity, 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions, 5:21 envying, murder, drunkenness, carousing, and similar things. I am warning you, as I had warned you before: Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God! 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 5:24 Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit. 5:26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, being jealous of one another. R.P., There only two sources of power… Period! God created Lucifer for Gods pleasure; Lucifer was perfect until: Ezekiel 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. Isaiah 13-14 For thou hast said in thine heart, I ...will ascend into heaven, I... will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I... will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I ...will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I....will be like the most High. Pride................. Is a sin. Lucifer fell because of Pride. 1 Timothy 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil Ezekiel 28:16-19 [16] Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. [17] Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings. [18] By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching. [19] All the nations who knew you are appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.' " Freewill is a gift given to not only man on earth but also given to the Angels. As their was a war in Heaven and Lucifer was cast down to earth. One third of the Angelic beings followed him. Of their own freewill. Rev12: 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Not all of the Angelic beings followed Lucifer… obviously a fraction followed God and remained with God. Angels are also referred to as stars; JOB28:7 REV. 1:20. Now those fallen Angels are dubbed demons and Lucifer has a new name Satan. Ezekiel 28:19 "you have come to a horrible end and will be no more" seems to say that God will cause Satan to cease to exist. Many people take solace in this to justify their own refusal to accept Christ: "See, the Bible says that God will destroy sinners. Since I won't exist anymore, why should I care?" This is clearly not the case. "you ... will be no more" means Satan will not have influence. He will not have power. His ultimate fate is that he will spend eternity being punished in Hell. Matthew 25:41 "Then he [Jesus] will say to those on his left, `Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels." It is important to notice that in this passage Jesus will be speaking to those humans who did not accept Him, not to Satan -- but the fire is eternal and it was prepared for Satan. 1 Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Satan is NOT more powerful than God. Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Exodus 7:8-12 [8] The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, [9] "When Pharaoh says to you, `Perform a miracle,' then say to Aaron, `Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh, ' and it will become a snake." [10] So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the LORD commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. [11] Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: [12] Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs. Usually, when this story is told the emphasis is on the fact that Aaron's staff won. How did the sorcerers ("magicians") transform their staffs??? Did they pray to the God of their slaves? Hardly likely! They weren't even impressed! They had to already be hooked into some serious power to know they would be able to do miracles! There are only two sources of that kind of power: (1)God and His angels and (2) Satan and his demons. Satan is the god of this world. 2 Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Lucifer - Satan is: ·most perfect ·most wise ·most intelligent ·most powerful ·most knowledgeable being ever created. (Ezekiel 28:15) -- PERIOD! Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.
pureinheart
Wow...incredible teaching in this thread....sitting here wondering what would cause a person to sincerely not want to go to heaven, and the only thing I can figure is they feel so unworthy and possibly don't even realize it. It's easier to either joke about being in hell with good company or to operate in denial completely stating there is no heaven or hell. There have been many times I haven't even felt saved, but all that does is scare me, fearing I won't go to heaven....but the once saved always saved kicks in and I am ok. Island Girl
Wow...incredible teaching in this thread....sitting here wondering what would cause a person to sincerely not want to go to heaven, and the only thing I can figure is they feel so unworthy and possibly don't even realize it. I do not view myself unworthy in any way. I do not feel unworthy. I know your religion teaches it is there for ANYONE who asks. -- ANYONE. That means by definition there is no one unworthy in any way shape or form. I do not believe the bible is true. There are too many inconsistencies and fallacies to accept it. It is nonsensical. Therefore - if I do not believe in the bible - I do not believe in your God or the magical being you call Satan - or Heaven or Hell. They are all from the same work of literature which I reject as being the word of God or anything else but a collection of stories. I do not reject it in favor of some other religion. I reject religion. All and any religion. If you can provide evidence that I am misguided, by all means let's hear it. But I mean evidence in the literal sense. You can not pose scripture from the bible as evidence that the bible is true. The supportive evidence that shows the bible is true must be found outside of the bible.
