Thanks for the product review! Upon checking this stuff out, I was thinking "pricey" at $39 (plus shipping) for 8 oz., but if two applications gives a nice dark tan it may very well be worth the price. I pay $45 a month for unlimited tanning bed visits. With that I also get the UV exposure, skin aging, etc. It takes a good two months for me to get where I want to be in the way of darkness, then once weekly visits to keep me there at $5 a pop.

Xen-Tan doesn't seem much more expensive, and is much safer in the long run.

More updates would be nice. The sunless tanners I have tried tended to get streaky on my legs due to shaving. I'm interested to know your satisfaction level after three weeks or so.

It is very concentrated. But, not greasy concentrated! One pea size will cover plenty. Not one streak this morning.

I even used a strip of plastic wrap covered with dots of the product to get my back. You'd think 'streak city', but not at all!

I exfoliated my face this morning, like usual, and my face is still tan..and I am talking only ONE application of this stuff. It's awesome.

I highly recommend gloves while applying the dark lotion. The color just grips to your skin and won't let go.

It's very natural, and have received many compliments today.

When I applied it to my hands and knuckle area, I used it sparingly. I applied lotion fifteen minutes after (to JUST my hands). Don't put lotion on your skin before using it.

Yes, it does cost a lot, but you get huge results in just one application. So, you can imagine how long the bottle will last!

Anyways...I will use it again tonight, only one more time is needed. Wouldn't need more than two applications. Any more and honestly I don't think I'd want that dark of a tan.

This stuff sounds great! I've considered that I would also save time and gas. I'm currently between tanning memberships, with a pretty nice tan. If I order now, I think a bottle would last me awhile. I wouldn't even need a first application for two weeks, and then I could go from there.

I am always skeptical of testimonials on a products site, but your testimony is regarded as the gospel truth.

Aww...thanks! I am just really excited that I finally found a tanning product that works for me.

Before trying this stuff, I was considering breaking down and going to the tanning bed.

But I know how fast the sun ages...and I am pushing 40.

Also, I am very fair skinned with gold tones in my hair.

I am fair skinned, too. that's why it takes so long to achieve a good tan in a bed. I have to start slowly, and move up the exposure time slowly or else I'll burn.

I pushed through and past 40 2.5 years ago. Premature, and even timely, aging is a concern. I want to be one of those "hot for her age" babes at 60 since I'll be raising kids until my mid 50's. ;)

I don't do tanning beds because I have a friend who tans regularly for the past ten years.

She always has me guess her age. I always guess 45 she is 30. her face is so leathery and wrinkled it looks like dried raw hide

After seeing her I would never tan

Yep, and I've seen some pretty extreme cases of natural sun worshiping, too. There is something to be said for using sunscreen since athletes and others who are required to be in the sun often still tan, but in a more healthy way. As we age our skin naturally loses some elasticity, too, making us wrinkly, but there is a difference between wrinkles that look dried out and wrinkles that appear to contain moisture.

Thanks Luv! The product sounds great, I think I'm going to give it a try. I just hope I can manage to apply it evenly all over.

I've been a faithful user of the misty tan for a couple years. Tanning beds don't do much for me except turn me pink, while the real sun itself tans me nicely..I don't get it but that's how it is.

I have had a few bad experiences with the mist tan, but for me, the color comes out nice and brown, not orange. So maybe that had something to do with the facility where you did it. There have a few times when the back of my legs were too blotchy looking...but the trick apparently is to immediately dry off the backs of both legs as soon as you get out of the mist tan. Don't pat dry, just wipe dry gently. But sometimes I'm in a hurry so I probably don't always dry off properly and that's how I might end up with the blotchy look.

I have a question about the Loreal Sublime Glow, how many times do you have to use it before a tan develops?

I did mist tan once, the color was great but a little funky on my toes, also the stuff seemed to clog my pores which was my main issue.

I know what you mean about clogging the pores...it was an occasional problem for me...and around the knucles of your fingers and toes it tends come out a little dotty...but it's not noticeable to others, from what I can tell.

I heard that Loreal Sublime Glow was good. But, when I tried it, I got an orange glow instead.

I have a pic of me and my new FAKE tan (only 1 application) on my profile.

Waddya think? Does it look real?

I used to be as white as the shirt I am wearing!

Looks very natural to me!

I think I would definitely need two applications, I like a darker tan, but this stuff looks so promising. :D

I was told today about a salon that actually sprays a tan on you manually, and that it looks very even and natural. I don't know the cost yet, but I'll be looking into it because I have a wedding to attend this weekend. I'll get back on it!

oh thanks allina!! ;)

I called the salon that my girl friend told me about, where she got a spray tan that they actually sprayed on her themselves, and apparently it turned out very nice and even, etc.

But they stopped using it a couple months ago they said! Salon told me the demand for it wasn't high enough so the solution would sit and go bad before another client would come in. The solution was called Personal Touch which she claims is not the same as what they use for the mystic tan. Darn!!
