Dadubwa
My brother and I are as close as you can get. I tell him everything, he tells me everything. We grew up in an amazing household with really understanding parents, and really great family. Now he's off to college and I hardly ever see him. The thing is while my brother is at college he's desperately looking for a girlfriend. He's a great guy, he's very sweet, very understanding, kind of needy, but extreamly loyal. When he comes home from college I always try to get him out of the house to come to a party with me, or go out to see friends, ANYTHING, but he's such a hermit, he sits on his computer and plays video games LOL. He's such a geek, but if he would just get out of the habit he'd be making some girl really happy right now, I know it. He's a great looking kid, he's SO smart...but he's just so stuck in this shell! I'm constently trying to break him out of it, but I'm out of ideas! HOW DO I GET THIS KID OUT AND ABOUT!?
alextop30
hehe, I see your problem man I use to have the same problem but a little earlier than the time that I started going to college. In high school it was something like your description I would come home play video games and not go out not do anything pretty much except play games and a little bit of homework. So how get out of that, I started loving parties - I know how to dance a lot of different dances and a party that my brother took me to just broke the shell and now he cant get rid of me an go to a party on his own sometimes I beg to come along. My suggestion- Get your brother and tell him you want to go out and sit somewhere and have some talk like coffee, eat ice cream at baskin robins, instead of going to that place just drive straight to a party that you have been invited and have him come with you inside. Some people think that something in not interesting because they are a little scared, so just get him to a party without his knoledge and if he likes the atmosphere, the video games are going to be history and you can put that worrie to rest
