Guest Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 About 8 months ago my ex girlfriend contacted me from 20 years ago. I was moved to tears when I heard her voice. I really loved her back then but it was a choice between her and my wife and I chose my wife. To be honest I loved the OW more but at the time she didn't have a college degree and that bothered me. The OW was very hurt and I wanted to still see her after I got married. I was addicted to her and couldn't let her go. She wouldn't have anything to do with me anymore. I have never known passion with anyone the way I did her. I have tried to recreate that feeling with my wife but have been unsuccessful. Anyway, my ex and I talked for about 1-1/2 hours and she is now married, living in another state and seems happy. They have no kids, I now have 4. I gave her all of my contact info but have not heard back from her in all these months. My question is why would she contact me after all these years?
