Greetings,

 

I am 22 years old. I normally go back to home country with my parents in the summer time for vacation. A couple of years ago, I along with my parents met up with my aunt and uncle and we went to some distant part in the country because my family had never been there before. Along the way we stopped to eat and though it wasn't part of the trip, my aunt and uncle told us they remembered someone who lived close by and we decided to stop there with them.

 

I was apathetic and didn't really expect much of anything until we got there, when I found out they had two daughters and one I sort of liked (the one I like is more within my age range). The parents ended up being really nice people, very hospitable; it was night time and they insisted we slept in their house while they went somewhere (I think they had family near by).

 

My parents didn't want too, but eventually caved and the next day when we woke up they made breakfast and everything! After that we went to church and they came with us to the location my family originally intended to see since they knew the area.

 

I met them again like two years later and they still remembered us. We spent a few days with them, seeing stuff, and their family really likes mine and vice versa and I think the mother has taken a liking to me. The mother was asking my mom if I had a girlfriend and when she said no, she pointed out both of her daughters are single also haha.

 

I am pretty sure they both toyed with the idea of "Oh what if our children ever went out" and all that stuff. I never really thought about it much, but, my mom has teased me about it every now and then since and it's annoying.

 

I don't know what the reason is for meeting them, but, they have proven to be some very nice people in the short time I've known them. The daughter I never really talked too much because I am kinda shy and never thought she'd like me, but, I do consider trying at least since the parents wouldn't object or anything and are cool with it.

 

It would be a long distance deal initially, but, in the future I am going to spend more time there. The girl has also expressed interest in coming here from what I've heard. Any advice? Thanks for reading
