I was just being funny about everyone giving the vibe that WALMART is cheap ,duh.. I assume all Californians get word of Hollywood gossip before anyone...Sounded like you didn't know anything about Bennifer.

K-Mart sucks:bunny:

No i did know I just didn't consider it relevant.

And Walmart is cheap, I see how some people buy things like household products and toys there but no woman wants a Walmart engagement ring.

I totally understand you,and yeah it would suck for the girl to know she has a "WALMART" ring for the bond of commitment..

The way I'm looking at it,and I do hope that when the time comes for me to pick a ring(I hope it's soon) that I can afford to buy the most awesome ring to show her my commitment to her...I'd love to get her a million dollar ring..

Whew...a moment here lol...I was going to go on and on,but I'll tellya....I really freakin tella....if I was that guy and have a girl to get married with that I truly loved and she loved me back....WalMart ring or not....It would be the most awesome feeling,to me,to get to that stage of life...Actually getting married and picking out a ring for her.... Some of us may never get to that point. I hope to someday, but it doesn't look good....

If I do get that chance though....I know when I put that ring on her finger...I'll do everything to keep her happy.....I'll never get bored of her like so many people say to me...."marriage sucks" "stay single"...well guess what.....being single sucks..

Teddy and Jane

Diamonique's CZs are better quality than most. I have some that I've had for years, you really can't tell, they are better than others I've tried. Also....they DO have simulated sapphires, too!

UPDATE: remember I said I noticed careless craftsmanship on the 2nd version of the same ring? Turns out I wasnt being overly critical either, b/c last friday the stone fell out and was lost :( :( :( I didnt snag it, the prongs didnt look bent, didnt hit the ring or otherwise jar it lose (that I know of). Was just crappily made IMHO

I was pretty upset, but him not so much -- I expect b/c he knows he went cheap on it (tho will still try to get his money back). He said he's never buying anything from that crappy store again and we are currently shopping together for a new one.

Another example of their incompetence: after all the back & forth trying to get the right size, they told him my ring size is 5. Then I saw online the average ring size is 6. My fingers are not skinny so I knew had to be bigger than average.... measured myself at a 7. :-\

moral of the story: dont buy the ring at Wal-Mart!

I insisted that we become "officially" engaged before we move in together, which we are doing next month. The proposal itself was really sloppy and unromantic on his part (that's another story) but I really liked the sapphire engagement ring he got me even tho the setting was only 10K gold :-\ it's a pretty design. However, it was too big. And this is where the story kinda falls apart.

Mina 7 years is a long time but listen to this first part... Men like to feel as though they are doing the work and making you happy etc.,

I am sure a few will blast me here. I could be wrong but the ring will be only one of the many disappointments you will be seeing in the future. I would not sign my name to any long term housing contracts with him. good luck and congradulations I am not raining on your parade I just made the same mistake and got burned.
