Idolatry is used here incorrectly. The meaning of IDOLATRY is: 1.the religious worship of idols. 2.excessive or blind adoration, reverence, devotion, etc.
Author lonelybird
But sinful deeds, some may look FUN temporary, but in a long term sense, these things do more harm than good, or fun. when people receive consequences from those sinful deeds, it no longer is FUN anymore. sometimes people suffer these consequences of "fun" with a sense of guilty, sometimes they are direct visible bad consequences. Therefore, the LIVING LAW in our heart direct and determine all things. In order to have a rejoice and abundant life here on earth, we need to check and learn what are these living laws. But we cannot obey these laws all by ourselves, if we cannot obey these laws, they become curse to us. Jesus came to earth not to remove these God's laws, but to fulfill it. How? simple, if we invite HIM into our heart, totally surrender to Him, He will teach you and guide you in all things you do. I don't know how other Christians experiences, but it is very clear for me that a invisible being is living inside of me, and guide me in all things, if I do something wrong, He will tell me so. Many people say God would take fun things out of people's life, as my experience, it is not true. On the contrary Holy Spirit encourage me to have some fun and rejoice time, as long as I don't cross the line, He want me to be happy! in a godly way Sometimes the guilty would seperate us from God's presence. If God forgive our past, then who are we not to forgive ourselves? Satan use our past to make you feel guilty to seperate you from God, DON'T let Satan be. Let's set our eyes on future and forward, NOT past:). If Jesus set us free, we are free indeed! Faith can take us there, if only we believe. God loves us. He has good plan, not evil plan for our lives.

Lonelybird this is such a beautiful post and how true it is. Ps 41:2} stood out to me as read through the list of scriptures. The LORD will protect them and preserve their lives; he will make them happy in the land; he will not abandon them to the power of their enemies. And preserve, He does preserve in more ways than one. That too is a miraculous gift of God when age is not showing…because the Lord has preserved. This is apparent in my parents… Praise the Lord! The Lord is just and fair and good to His own…even before we knew Him. Praise Jesus! God Bless*
