badian Posted April 18, 2007 Share Posted April 18, 2007 Check this out...this is good! There's a woman that I have known for 20 years and we always got along real good, perhaps too good. Over the years, we've been intimate and got together...here and there...nothing serious. However, 5 years ago.....we got into this stupid argument (we were involved at this time)...that was a big misunderstanding. Bottom line...at the end of lunch...she says "I need a real man!" Well, that really got my goat....because I told her..."That I'm not attracted to you..either!"...and off she goes crying, very pissed to the ladies room....Well, she got mad, I got mad and we hurt each pretty bad, over lunch, that day. After making fool's of ourselves, to lunch crowd, and out in the parking lot... she starts saying..."I'm sorry..." I was so mad, I just cut her off...and said..."It is what it is, Pra!" And walked away. That was 5 years ago, I never called or heard from her again, until last week! She calls me out of the blue....and we talked for 4.5 hours! When's the last time you spoke to a member of the opposite sex, for that long...since you were a kid? We just picked up where we left off. We didn't even mention the last time we seen each other. We had lunch this week. At first, it was akward. She couldn't look at me directly for 10minutes, into the lunch. She would make eye contact with me...here and there. I just sat there, and listened....carefully. Now, here's where it really gets interesting. The next morning, after our lunch date, she calls me on during my commute on the train and invites me to a movie at a film festival. I say, "thanks for the invite but, the trains aren't 24hr. I can't get home. Her reply, "YOU CAN SPEND THE NIGHT!" What the hell is going on? She knows how bold I am....and we have a history of mess'n around with each other. It's funny, we're should have been GF and BF along time ago....we're like the couple that should have been. I would like to welcome all responses both male and female. I'm also surprised that she's continuing the all out pursuit unless she isn't aware of how little you hold her in regard. I was just asking for some advice. I'm shocked she called you at all, considering how it was left. I'm also surprised that she's continuing the all out pursuit unless she isn't aware of how little you hold her in regard.
