Why???

Look I'm not being big-headed and nor do I consider myself to be good looking or a great person - but why do women find married men an attraction (or why are they more attentive towards us married blokes?)??? Since I got married I've found that women can talk to me a lot easier now - even if it's on the bus or at work. I've had two other sexual offers (please see sentence below - which was a third offer) during my marriage which still hasn't reached its first year!!!

 

I've even made friendships with other blokes wives who previously never said so much as boo to a Goose to me!!

 

Yes, I'm loving the attention - but as you will see from an earlier post of mine it can so easily turn bad!!

 

I just want to know why do women find married men attractive (at least that's what it seems like to me anyway)? Is it because we are no longer a threat to you?

Probably. With the exception of the women that are propositioning you, the women that are just being friendly finally feel that they can be friendly without having to turn you down later on.

You're right. I am a married woman and I find it much easier to talk to MM because I don't feel like they would try to hit on me. I felt the same way about them when I was single.

B/C they are not as much of a threat to the W...They know they are already attached so there's not as much, if any, competition...Plus, it's more exciting, the sex part is heightened, etc.,...

 

Many W now days are very involved in their own lives and have successful and fulfilling careers..They don't want to share their lives w/ anyone in a formal commitment. They'd rather be unattached..Not saying it's right, I just know how self confident and aggressive W can be now days. This definitely has it's upside, but IMO, values and morals have sort of gone by the way side partly b/c of this. I need to read that feminism thread, I guess.

Then these same women get attached to these married men and it emotionally screws them up inside causing them to become bitter towards men when they are the ones who went after a married man in the first place. Nothing good ever comes of these affairs.
