what to do?

Before we finished the semester, the guy I like asked for my phone number and I asked for his e mail. I sent him an e-mail but he hasn´t answer me back. My brother in law told me that I should send him another e mail cause maybe he didn´t recieve the first one after all, and he might be wating for me to write so he can get the courage to call me . I don´t know what to do, should i send him the second e mail? Why should this be so difficult? why do guys ask for the phone number and never call??

No! First off, chances are he did get your first e-mail, and second of all, he has your phone number. He is free to call you whenever he wants! You gave him your number--you could've said no, right? That's all the courage he needs.

 

Actually, are you sure he's even checking his e-mail over break? Some people don't.

 

why do guys ask for the phone number and never call??

 

They get scared, they meet someone else in the meantime, they get busy, they are spending time with family/friends, etc.

 

You'll see him when the semester resumes, right? Don't worry about it so much!

Thanks Clia for your comments=) I feel so much better , it´s good to know other people perspectives, from persons that see the situation neutrally 😃

I sent the email about three weeks ago, and the semester resumes in one month but I probably won´t see him very frequently next semester cause we study different careers, I guess that I will have to wait until we meet again to know what does he really feel and let him explain why he didn´t call or write.

 

I wish you a very happy 2003, full with health, love, friendship... I know it might be late for me to wish you a Happy New Year but the good thoughts are never late 😃
