nadira_hoob Posted April 30, 2007 Share Posted April 30, 2007 well..my dad has been on drugs for quite sometime..so he hasnt been home for bout a month..now for these past few weeks my mum has been going out with her co worker everyday.they call and text each other every single minute.i talked to my mum bout it.she said theyre just friends..but i know its more than that since i read her messages nd listen to their conversations.she comes back late from work,and she's like a totally different person.i told my dad bout it.so he came back home at last.my mum doesnt know that we know bout the affair.ive told her to stop whatever is going on between her that guy.but she keeps on calling him.she even talks with him in front of my dad.i dont know what to do,i basically cant kill that guy.He's married,his wife s pregnant and he's got 5 kids..i dont wanna lose respect for my mum..but it is..i kinda hate her in a way..i really look up on her.and now i dont.pls give me some advice on what to do.should i just tell her i know bout it?or just shut up?how do i make them to stop their relationship? Guest Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 How awful! Sounds like you are the nominated adult in your home. Have your Father contact the wife of the co-worker and bring things to light. Is your Father in treatment? If not, encourage him to seek it (actually your Mum should be doing this but it falls to you now). Seek counseling help for yourself NOT because you have problems but because you have been thrust into a role you shouldn't have to take on. Please keep us updated.
