What male qualities are females aftering to get interested?

What male qualities do females look for in order to get the female specifically interested? I see this a lot to animals, so I thought if this also includes humans.

The wording of you question is a bit strange, but I'll take a shot.

 

I like a confident but not cocky guy. For me this weeds out a huge portion of the population because it's difficult to be confident but not cocky at the same time.

 

Intelligence. Extremely important. If I can't hold an intelligent conversation with a guy it doesn't matter how good he looks, there is no attraction.

 

Comparing this to animal attraction, you get a lot of the same qualities. Confidence radiates protector while cockiness radiates someone who is out for themselves. Let's see, if you are attracted to the smell of another, it generally means that your immune systems are different enough that your offspring would have good immune systems. Of course now with colognes that doesn't work.

In the animal kingdom, partners are chosen based on the estimated potential to have fit offspring with. 'Fit' as in 'capable of having offspring on it's own'.

 

So, what animals (and humans) want, is a partner that will give us healthy children in the broadest sense of the word.

Healthy partners will give us the most chance of healthy offspring.

'Healthy features' are: physical fitness, intelligent, symmetrical, smelling nice etcetera.

Something like 'confidence' can be translated as: has a strong position in the population, probably based on being able to defend himself or accomplishing things.

'cute': healthy, youthfull.

'intelligent': Able to take good dicisions and able to get a good job which helps raising the kids in a healthy manner.

'ugly': old, unhealthy, weak position in the group.
