Author a4a
I could do that, but it would require me having a night with your burning bush. Honey it will set you on fire but that baby is a bare bush.
Touche
spoon? do you still have that damn thing? I have to do a big "sale" today...... Must be perky! I will get there eventually. Awesome oppurtunity...... just hitting at the wrong time. Working on the presentation at the moment.... but dag gone I do not want to talk to the client in this mood. Spoon me!!!!! Consider yourself spooned, A! And yes, I actually still have it. It's the biggest one I have and I think of you every time I use it.

Touche
See that big spoon was a thoughtful gift wasn't it....... :lmao: Not everyday someone gives you a giant wooden spoon. It was very thoughtful and so unique too. No one has ever given me a giant wooden spoon as a gift. See, now that's what I'm talking about when I mention putting "thought" in a gift. Perfect example. I mean it comes in so handy. Has so many uses. Our son hates it of course..it's just a handy thing when he misbehaves. All I do is take it out and wave it at him and he steps back in line. Maybe you should try that on H?

I use cheese as my tool of consquences. :lmao: Oh the cheese. And Moose I only put out for him because I want it...... why should I suffer? I am not into hunger strikes either. I could get it elsewhere but that just is not me. Well I best get to packing and get dressed for my "pretend" trip, and the "pretend" dinner, what does one wear on such glorious "pretend" outtings? See if I can squeeze my giant stupid cow ass into a pair of dress overalls....... I guess the flowers are probably on the way to the local nursing home.... which is actually nice. Touche
See how ungrateful you are Touchy...... what about the flowers I got you!!! :lmao: :lmao: there were flowers!!! Ha, ha! Actually the flowers were gorgeous. I especially loved the big sunflower and I swear they lasted forever. But see, what made them special is that they came with a giant wooden spoon and a bottle of wine. I'm sure your flowers from H would be very special to you too if they came with a gorgeous pair of diamond earrings, right? He has no clue.

I'm sure your flowers from H would be very special to you too if they came with a gorgeous pair of diamond earrings, right? He has no clue. Oh he has a clue. There is a whole file here of products I have been looking at and that WE need as well. Like my half assed fish pond I have begged him to help me finish....... 1 year now I have a nice mud hole. I even dug the damn hole myself ..... just asked him to stop and pick up the liner for me (we have a wholesale acct. and he is near there almost everyday) All the rocks and boulders are sitting there..... waiting.... I ask nicely he ignores me. Like the ring..... he sat and picked it out with me, even measured my finger. Comes home with totally different ring at least 2 sizes too small that I clearly stated I would not wear that type as it gets caught on things and is actually dangerous :lmao: Well he was in a hurry to find one at the last minute, probably though "eh, this one will do" ran in and ran out of the place because he drove by it. :lmao: Ask him for a divorce he probably will show up with a preacher to renew our vows. :lmao:
JackJack
Hopefully, there will come a day when you wake up and say, "You know, I really am tired of this BS cycle", and you will really mean it. Then, and only then once YOU break that cycle, you will be free of all the crap. But right now I guess the enjoyment of the game is what is keeping you in it. And don't give me that mess about how you don't like the game, because if you truly didn't you wouldn't still be playing it.

The other house is not finished, I cannot nor would it be smart to sacrafice paying for a rental and have to drive back here 2x per day on the weekdays and then drive back another 50 miles to sleep then to job sites...... I cannot pull that off. I am actually content when he is not here or when I am on the job site. You don't just throw a 2,000 lb horse into the trunk and tie him to a tree at your new digs either. Finding accomedations for my pets is a priority to me. He will not care for them if I move. He won't leave. Discussed it. So when he gets here I get to hear..... I love you, I don't know why I do these things, I know what you want...... don't leave me, blah blah blah blah blah. Promise lie promise lie promise lie. I usually just go hide if we are home at the same time. I gotta do some PR work as well before things blow up.
Author a4a
My dear friend just got me a portrait of my horse!!!! OMG!!! I mentioned how I have put off doing this because it was so extravagant and I could not justify it. Next thing I know a call that she got one for me!!! My goodness that made my day! That poop should not have done that but gosh I am so so excited!!! Actually made this tough old bird cry. Wow........ what a considerate sweet friend. That is so neat!!! Wow!!! JackJack
OK, well I'm sure then at some point, something will work out for you and your not having another place to live situation then. Congratulations, on your portrait.
Touche
You know what I would do? I'd go on and on to H about how special a gift that was, how much it means to you and what a great friend you have..how she made you feel so special..etc. etc. It might send him a strong message. Say nothing to him about his gift-giving..just go on and on about this.
Author a4a
Oh I am so excited........ this is something that I have wanted to do for years. It is a life size portrait of his head and neck..... OMG ...... may sound silly to some but to horse people this is the ultimate gift. That fruckin' plasma is coming down off the fireplace and my horse is going up! Should I not say a word and just lay the portrait of the horse head in bed with the H and let him wake up with it laying there? :lmao:

She could tell him till the camels come home, but I doubt he will do anything about it. It seems she has been sending him strong messages for awhile now. He either simply doesn't get it or he chooses not to. I will go with the last thing.

It will drive him crazy I'm sure.

Ok, thats fine. I'm just saying, I think that with the things he does or doesn't do based on what a4a has said over a course of time, that he DOES get it. He seems to be the classic PA type of person. Most PA people DO get it. They chooose not to, to play games, such as control, and the woe is me pity party I need a mother/wife, but more so a mother type of deal, and they will milk the victim role for all it's worth. After years of trying to get someone to see what it you want/need, by either telling them or showing them over and over again, then yes one has to ask themselves, does this person really not get it, or do they get it and they choose not to? Also, part of a PA persons personailty, is they like to make you think they DO NOT get it. They are very crafty people. PA people are also very good at keeping their spouse/partner in their game playing role with them too.

Perhaps you're right in your assessment but I just think he doesn't get how important some things are to A. He thinks she'll just get over it and he can go back to being the way he is after she calms down.
JackJack
Perhaps you're right in your assessment but I just think he doesn't get how important some things are to A. He thinks she'll just get over it and he can go back to being the way he is after she calms down. Yes, you are correct, thats exactly what he wants her to do. He doesn't want to deal with anything that might be wrong. He is not open to really learning what she wants or needs. By doing this he keeps himself at an emotional distance for her and the relationship. Your statement about she'll get over it and he can go back to being the way he is after she calms down is exactly why they are stuck in this cycle. He sweeps things under the rug and hears and sees only what he wants too. Thats no way to communicate or deal with things. Hopefully is this is a really good counselor, he can help him see what it is that needs to be done. But first off, her H has got to be willing to do. I would really like to see things do a complete turn around for them both. But, he has to try too.

He doesn't even believe me when I say his buddy looking at me and calling "all women bipolar bitches" upsets me. He does not feel that way so I should not either. Crazy maker is what he is. See it is my fault because I did not tell him to please do not get me ANY FORM OF FLOWERS for my B-day. I was told this. It is my fault because I am too fat, too stupid, too ugly........ I say this. He does get it... he says "he knows" but does not know why he does not do things..... even his shrink is kinda fed up with him. I often say "not playing your game"....... Oh and he will nit pick the hell out of words..... loop holes..... always finds a word to use as a loop hole. Problem is I am not calming down...... since the day before the cheese.... hell I have been kinda mean...... I cannot help it. Shrink says I reached my breaking point and what did the H expect? But I got a horsey portrait and I am doing the happy desk dance!
