BlueSoul Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 When I was listening to one of bon jovi's song I noticed one line that reads "everyone's perfect, god makes no mistake". This got me thinking, even though we are all sinners, and imperfect, can we say that God's creations are perfect because he created us?

The better we know who we are in body of Jesus Christ, the more we satisfied about ourselves, the more we accept ourselves:) . Not that ourselves are perfect, but HE who is in us IS PERFECT. As soon as we accept Jesus as our Lord, we are NEW CREATURE. Now Spirit count everything. Spirit of God is changing us from inside. I so love this, I like new me, even Lord's rebuke is like sweet honey:love: HE can change everything, change stone heart into a soft one. HE teach me compassion.... Now we don't fuss, don't worry, just learn how to lean on our Lord, isn't that wonderful? We don't even have to fight with evil, Lord does this for us. We just need to cast every care onto Lord, HE will take care everything. Ya Hu! Heavenly Father is so wonderful, Lord is so wonderful, Holy Spirit is so wonderful, the whole idea of heaven is so wonderful:bunny: Praise Lord:love:

Storyrider Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 I think His image, like the Platonic Ideal, is perfect--literally, the conception of his creation. It is cool to extrapolate from the bible that maybe everything God conceives is automatically created. He says the word and the word is life. But the reality isn't always perfect. Think conjoined twins, cystic fibrosis, Downs Syndrome. Something goes wrong. As to why, that is another question.
DutchGuy Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 If something applies to everything, it looses its value. If you say "I love you" to everybody (Americans tend to do this on TV), then obviously you don't 'love' anybody. If everyone is perfect, nobody is.

However, imperfection comes from our sinful nature (we choose to sin of our own free will) ... remember, God is less about the corporal and more about the spiritual, thus even someone with a really messed up physical body still can be flawless if he or she is in a state of spiritual perfection. so, yes to your original question, about God's creations being perfect because he created us out of love. :love:
