smilesmile
My BF and I broke-up about 1 year ago, and then had an on-again off-again relationship for the next several months. We broke-up for the final time in October, and have had minimal contact since then. I've also moved across the country in that time. I've started to date other guys, but always end up comparing them to the ex, and to what we had. I think about contacting him again, just to see if there is anything left. We had a long, complicated, and often ugly relationship, but there was something between us that was so good. Nobody else has ever understood me the way he has, and he is the most genuine person I've ever been with. Considering we live in different time zones, we agreed to stop communicating back in October (which has been honored on both our parts), and we had a long drawn out break-up, is it fruitless to attempt to reconnect yet again? And if it is, does anyone have any advice on how to just get over someone and move-on? Thanks, any advice is appreciated!
