AriaIncognito
I recently started allergy shots and I was just wondering if anyone on here could attest to their working for them. How long did it take to see results? I have been told it's about 6 months until it starts to help, and that it takes a long time to get to the point where you only go monthly. I'm currently going weekly, and getting 3 shots a week. So, has it worked for you? If so, how long have you been on them, or how long have you been off them after going through the whole thing? Thanks!

Shots do work. It just takes time.

laRubiaBonita
i just read that if you eat a teaspoon of LOCALLY harvested honey it may help with allergies. it is important that you use honey made near where you live, since the bees use the area plants.
Author AriaIncognito
LRB - Actually, I've heard that too. Supposedly the honey would contain the local pollens and help with allergies. I suppose that could work in the same way that shots do, but in different doses. It's definitely something to think about.
