Who should contact who...is he still interested?

Ok I posted a thread about this guy that I've been seeing for a few weeks. We spent most of last weekend together, like everyday from thursday-sunday. We had talked about doing something on monday, but I thought to myself that it might be overkill of spending too much time together, so I didn't contact him, and I'm thinking he felt the same since he didn't contact me. So..I text messaged him on tuesday to see if he wanted to go to the movies with me that night. He just got back into his business again, so I knew he was busy, but gave it a try. He texted back "I wish I could but I have a convention dinner tonight, maybe thursday or friday" So I waited till thursday, didn't contact him, he texted me that night since it was thursday, "this week is nuts, sorry" so I texted back "it's ok I understand you're busy, hope you're doing good , we'll be able to catch up" then today, since it's friday, I was wondering if he'd contact me again, but hasn't yet, and I haven't contacted him, because I don't want to seem pushy with hanging out with him. Tomorrow (saturday) is my friend's bday and I want him to go along with me, so...should I contact him tomorrow, or should I wait and see if he contacts me? I'm just like anxious because I want to know if he's still interested in me. He really seems interested in me when we were spending time together last weekend, so I guess it was good that we've had our space this week, but still, I want to know if he's still interested, so should I ask him about tomorrow??
