Forever isnt so long

So its been 3-4 weeks since the break up and it doesnt seem to be getting better. everyday i wake up wishing i didnt. for the past 3-4 weeks ive cried myself to sleep at around 3 then i wake up 1 hour later crying and i pray for help to get her back. ive lost 15 pounds which is alot considering im 62 and i used to weigh 160lbs. i just want to kno how i can with her back. the longer i wait the closer she gets with this other kid that is totally wrg for her. i just need some suggestions on what i can do. i kno that it was my jealousy and tendancy to control her drove her away but i kno i dont want to be like that ever again and i kno i will not be like that because i understand my mistakes and im tring to avoid them. please help me by making so suggestions on what i should do and quick.

Thank You

Hey bro, Hard times im feeling atm aswell you are not alone in these times.

Let her be for the time being.. you cant make her come back. If she truely loves you she will come back to you. You know the saying if you love somthing let it free, if it comes back its true love. HOLD IN there, contacting her may push here furthur away mate.

Heggs.

Did you break up with her? Can you give a few more details of your story?

The stuff you said about being controlling and jealous.... yes, it does wreak havoc on relationships, but it's an opportunity for you to tackle it and end up stronger and better. I am a great believer in the tool of counselling for getting a grip on these problems. Jealousy is actually very rich ground for learning about yourself, with the help of a therapist.

Anyhow, I am truly sympathetic to the pain (lack of sleep, losing weight...ugh, I've sure been there) and hope you keep posting here, it will help and you won't feel so alone.

Well I read your story and it sounds like she isn't someone would want anyway. Sounds like she would rather be with other guys than you.

I know that is hard to hear, but why would you want anyone like that?

She sounds untrustworthy to me and something tells me that she was messing around. If it were me, I'd just forget about her and find someone you can trust. Someone that won't disrespect you by hanging out with guys pretty much exclusively.

she was never like this where she would be hangin out with other guys while we dated. but before we dated she was like that. so i feel like i made her change from what she was. we were soooo in love. when we first met she was never happy, she was depressed, the new girl at school, like no friends, and we met square dancin in gym and we totally hit it off. we started hanging out and she opened up to me about very personal things that she did and i could tell it was hard for her because she thought i was going to break up with her once she told me but instead i stayed with her bc i wanted to help her and she ment alot to me. so from that point on my goal was to make her happy. so i did everything in my power so that i could make her happy. and now all this happens and i feel like she just focused on the fighting over jealousy instead of all the things i did to make her happy. i just want to show her that ive changed from a selfish, jealous, controllin ass to someone she can love again. but its hard when i cant c her. but i want to somehow remind her of the good things.
