PWSX3
The wife is looking for a good multi vitamin, just wondering if anyone uses them & what should she look for?
Tony T
First, she should consult her doctor if she is on any prescription medications to be sure none will conflict with large doses of a particular vitamin. Then go to an excellent health food store and discuss her needs with the vitamin consultant. The best multi-vitamins come in powder form and are mixed with juice. But there are also some in tablet and capsule form as well. Once you look over the selection and become better informed, you'll be on your way. Always understand that vitamins in a bottle are NEVER as good as the vitamins captured by the body in nutritious foods. Sometimes it's better to eat well and supplement with only those vitamins that may be absent in your diet. Also, be aware that there are as many opinions about vitamin and mineral supplements as there are stars in the sky. If you start getting confused, just get her on a good supplement and if it makes her feel more energetic that's all you need to be concerned about.
SOS_Please
I really like GMC's Multivitamin for Women. It is around $16 dollars for nearly a month's supply. So, it is a little pricey, but it is the best vitamin I have taken. However, I hear liquid vitamins are actually better for you, and absorb into the body quicker. I agree with Tony: go to a health food store, and ask around; every person is different, and so are their nutrious needs.
