The reason a person like AJ is so public about her involvement with UNHCR (read up on it you want to clue in to what they do)

If I stay up until 4AM and have to get up and do family things at 7AM, but I am too tired to do it - how am I not taking away from family time? ON the average I get about 3 hours of sleep a night. I have three kids, am a single mom, a full time student, work full-time, in addition to baseball, football, dance,swimming, pool, and just having fun. I manage because my kids mean that much to me and the same applies to my MM. What happens to you when you are tired and hungry doesn't apply to me or my MM. We do it because we want to. Because our kids mean that much to us.

What I also am is the type of person who can seperate the good from the bad in people, I choose to see the dichotomy in each person. I don't have the time to read everything here, but I do want to address the OP.

 

If the marriage is at all helped by the existence of an OW, it has nothing to do with who the OW is, but the hole the MM is filling.

 

The problem is within the MM and he has found his fix by being with an OW. This doesn't fix the marriage, it makes the MM feel better about himself because the OW strokes his ego.

 

In reality, the OW doesn't fix anything. The marriage suffers until the MM and BW are willing to fix the real problems. Then OW then becomes irrelevant.

 

The discovery of an affair sometimes makes both partners realize that there are serious problems that need to be addressed if they want their marriage to survive.
