Yamaha Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 In a dating media they expect chemistry. Humor is a part of it but there are many things they desire, depending on the girl. Don't think you can have a list of things you need to attract a girl and pull then out when required. They will test you to see if you meet their qualifications. All you can do is be yourself and when you meet the girl that you have chemistry with she will find you to be all the things she requires. You should also remember that you have your own requirements so don't accept anyone who shows interest. Chemistry is a 2 way street and don't check your brain in at the door. There should be respect, consideration, manners, reasonable ambition, a good measure of independence, interest and engagement in life and society, kindness, monetary and personal responsibility and accountability, good communiccation skills, honesty and integrity with a well-established value system. Humour isn't necessarily about delivering a stream of quips and hilarious anecdotes. It can just be a general sense of good-natured mischief or sardonic dryness that naturally emanates from a person and mentally prepares you to laugh at/be interested in pretty much anything they say. Some women really like the one-man comedy routine - whereas others will prefer understated, sparingly applied humour, especially in a dating situation where they want the focus to be on feeling comfortable and getting to know you. In every situation where I've felt an immediate sense of chemistry with someone, just catching their eye has been enough to give me the giggles. That actually goes for female friends as well as for men I've been attracted to. If she feels both comfortable and energised around you, then you won't to work too hard to make her laugh or to capture her interest. Link to post Share on other sites

It's the perfect icebreaker because you both tend to relax. It can also generate some amazing positive synergies and chemistry if you both have the same sense of humour.
