Edinburgh English? I think you have insulted a couple of Scots. Cardiff is the Welsh capital, btw.

Ha, glad to see you took me up on my suggestion, Rufio. I know funkybassplayer is from England. There are quite a few others but I forget who and am not sure how often they come on. But I'm sure you'll find them eventually!

If you draw a line between Bristol and Manchester, then draw a line bearing 212 degrees from Birmingham and another line due West North West from Cardiff (in Wales, as Insanity pointed out) and another line between the Spread Eagle pub and the Victoria bridge; where all those lines cross is roughly where my left elbow is ... give or take 200 yards.

Great sunset. Is that one of yours, or one of theirs? I believe theirs are almost always grey, but I don't want to assume.

Just a sample pic from my computer. I have to admit though that the sun does shine more in North Carolina :o. That is something I'd miss if I ever moved back to England. Not that it's always raining over there but it is overcast a lot.

What do they teach kids in schools these days? I have met many british people who don't know the geography of their own country!

Berkshire is home to Reading, where the famous Reading rock festival takes place on the August bank holiday weekend.
