nittygritty
I've never watched Sex in the City but from your description, it's so typical. To paraphrase Gunny, women invest during the relationship while men invest when she's either gone or walking out the door... That is sooo true! "He's just not that into you" and then when he finally realizes he is, your long gone. If by chance, he were able to convince you to return, the pattern would just repeat. nittygritty
Do it, do it!! I'm dying to read it. It wouldn't be very good. The title would be... "The men I fall for only love me when I'm gone". :lmao:
Trialbyfire
It wouldn't be very good. The title would be... "The men I fall for only love me when I'm gone". :lmao: May I make a suggestion? "Martians are not that into you...unless you're gone."
underpants
You guys are funny. Sadly, I could add a couple of chapters to your book. However, for sake of argument and gender fairness. I have been on both sides of that fence. Also, I should admit that my name is Unders and I did read that Mars Venus book long ago. All I remember was caves, oceans and letters were a good idea. I also remember feeling like I would be more comfortable buying porn then in the self help section of the trendy Barnes and Noble.
nittygritty
May I make a suggestion? "Martians are not that into you...unless you're gone." Much better! Chapter 1. Martians have no clue as to what their into
Trialbyfire
I'll let you in on a little secret. I never read self-help books. Only the one referenced in this thread because it was almost forcibly provided to me by a very good friend of mine. She's a self-help guru. I think she's bored a lot of the time as a SAHM. Trialbyfire
No wonder so many of your posts are irrelevant. But the few that are on-topic make you a priceless member of the LoveShack family. So speaks the Overlord of off-topic... I bow before your wisdom.
Nemo
So speaks the Overlord of off-topic... I bow before your wisdom. Fair enough. But I'd make sure nobody is behind you before you try that again. Now that you mention it, I think I may have had more infractions than you have had marriage proposals. That aside, if I appear to be off-topic, it's probably an illusion of the mind. Careful re-reading will undoubtedly reveal that there is no substance whatsoever.
Trialbyfire
But I'd make sure nobody is behind you before you try that again. Oh, good advice. I'll ensure I'm facing you. As they say, when chatting with a superior or in your case, Overlord, CYA.
nittygritty
Hahaha... Chapter 2. Martians have two brains but only think with one. Chapter 3. Keep your eye on your Martian once he's out of you. :lmao: I'm going to sleep. Goodnight all
Trialbyfire
Chapter 3. Keep your eye on your Martian once he's out of you. :lmao: I'm going to sleep. Goodnight all Chapter 4. Analyze your Martian first before investing. Good night ng. Time for me too.
