I was employed by a premiere wine distribution company as a fluke after my last job in television was made redundant (channel didn't sell enough advertising).

I make great money, work from home (which is great because I have two young daughters) and spend my days in restaurants, top night clubs and bars selling wine.

But I'm bored...........

Am I just being pathetic?

I guess you don't have a passion for wine? There are so many people I know who would be so into this job because they love learning about the different wines and vineyards and the stories behind the different labels.

Others are really people-persons and really get into knowing and developing relationships with their customers.

CAn you find some aspect of your job that you can become passionate about?

But, in the end, your company doesn't pay you to like your job. They just pay you to do it. Lots of people hate their jobs and aren't merely bored.
