Beatnik Posted March 25, 2003 Share Posted March 25, 2003 Well the deal is im 17, and I havent had a lot of girlfriends and I pretty much detest the girls in my small town, either because of their stuck-up attitudes or general stupidity. And for a long while I thought I was doomed to be alone, because I've never kept a girlfriend for more than a few weeks. Well I had to go to the mall a town over yesturday (my sister had a pretty nasty run-in with a bottle of crappy hair dye and I had to take her to System Seven to have the purple/grey color removed) While she was in there I went to buy some shirts at Hot Topic (for those of you who are not familiar with Hot Topic, its a store, usually in malls, that sells a lot of rock merchandise and other assorted things that are not "mainstream") Well I found my shirts and was checking out some stickers when I realized that this really cute redhead was looking at me, so naturally I looked back and smiled. I caught her looking a few time more but I didn't act upon them because she seemed to be in her early 20s and she lived a town or more away from me so I assumed it wouldn't go anywhere anyway. But now I'm thinking that I should have gone for it anyway, you know sometimes you got to just say What the ****! So I feel this is a huge hurdle overcome for me. I'm going to spend some more time out at the mall and maybe meet another girl who seems to like me and be like me. I also will not hesitate to talk to her like I have in the past. I always felt I was a fairly good-looking guy, maybe I just havent dated much because the girls in my town, for the most part, are not like me at all. Mallrats and all other Kevin Smith movies are my favorites, hell my avatar is Banky from Chasing Amy!
