I have to say that anyone who thinks that the fact that the OP says that law enforcement did not respond appropriately, and the fact that one might post such a story and not return for comment, is an indication of a fabricator is really lacking enlightenment on this subject. I fortunately have never suffered from rape, but I do know folks who have; as everyone does.... you just may not know it. that is a symptom of the crime. the victims don't feel guilt, feer and shame. if someone felt like expressing themselves on here, but didn't want to respond thereafter; i don't think we can derive meaning from this.
