Curmudgeon
A coping mechanism I try to remember and adhere to regarding anything troublesome life may throw in my path. I hope it helps those of you whom could use it! "If it doesn't grow Corn ..." is a phrase based in the Native American philosophy of daily living. Simply, it means: "If what you are doing, learning, feeling, or thinking isn't making your life and the lives of others around you better, then why do it?" It asks us to question, simplify and focus our energy in ways that will improve all life. "Is it growing Corn?" ...is a question you can ask yourself about any aspect of your life. If the answer is "yes", continue. If it doesn't grow Corn...don't do it.

Trialbyfire
I've never heard that one C. It's an interesting perspective, more the greater whole instead of solely focusing on self. I like it. On the other hand, I do have to tease you about it. What do you fertilize corn with?
