rainingonsunday Posted April 2, 2003 Share Posted April 2, 2003 I have a friend that I have a BIG crush on. Recently I told him, and he said he just wants to be friends. Well, then he started calling me 3-4 times a day, just to see what I was doing. He always wants to hang out when I am with our friends, but usually doesnt come around when I am not with them. He gets upset when he finds out I have an intrest in other people, and wants to know ALL about them, then says they arent a good match for me. Could he possibly want more? They are worthless friends, believe me. Don't even hope for anything more from this guy. He's using you as a reserve...he's trying to keep you around in case nothing else happens for him. His ego is gratified because he knows you like him. If you want to drive him nuts, take all measures NOT to run into him...that will mean seeing your friends individually instead of in a group. Don't email him, don't call him, don't have any contact with him whatsoever. That will be the only way you may stimulate some interest on his part. Otherwise, write his butt off...NEVER ask him for love advice or share who you are dating or interested in...and don't consider him a true friend.
