I want to ask her to lunch or something to get to know her better and later on ask her out or to be my girlfriend or whatever. I have asked a bunch of friends on how to do it they were trying their best but they pretty much had all the same conclusion..."Just go for it!" So anyways I need some help on this because to be honest this is the first time i've done this without like a friend doing it for me or like doing it over e-mail or a note or whatever, and I dont WANT to do it like that so then I'll be able to have more expirience with this in the future. What i was thinking i should do is talk to her in the hallway maybe say something like hey your in my class right? and yeah that kinda thing then just say would you like to come to lunch with me on tuesday? and hopefully she will say ok. After we go to lunch I dont know what to really say because Im not the most social person, not the biggest group of friends in school right? Anyways I have never even spoken to this girl yet or anything I dont know much about her, but I think she is sort of a new girl in the school so maybe that will open up a few doors for me to start a conversation? I hope she doesnt really go for looks too much because i'm not the best looking guy, I have some problems with skin but lately I have gotten it pretty good, under control and everything. I have quite a bit of acne AND dry skin, if i use this skin stuff then that will make my dry skin not very noticeable at all my acne is mostly around my mouth and my forehead which is pretty understandable, i guess its normal for a 15 year old right? Anyways, today I was sorta trying to look good for her and stuff, I kinda fixed my hair and stuff and put on some axe but then when I was GOING to talk to her she dissapeared or ran away or something because I didnt see her anywhere, in a hurry maybe? Avoiding me? nah!...Anyways maybe I should stop now because I have quite alot typed here but I hope somebody can help me pleease! I need it badly. Thank You Link to post Share on other sites
tanbark813 Posted August 30, 2007 Share Posted August 30, 2007 If you're never spoken to her before then you're going to have to chat her up about something before asking her to lunch. It doesn't really matter what you talk about, but if you can manage to be funny that will help. If you can't think of anything, "Hey, how did you do on that test/homework/quiz/whatever?" is a decent fallback. If she's the new girl in school then that's a bit of an in. If you see her eating alone you could just walk up and tell her you know she's new and ask her if she would like some company. Or if you want to set it up beforehand you can say basically the same thing. "Hey I know you're new here. Do you want to get some lunch with me?" You want to make it seem like an everyday casual thing, not like you've been staring at her and planning it for weeks. And throw out the Axe. Make your mom buy you some Kenneth Cole "Black". Author dreamxcast Posted August 30, 2007 Author Share Posted August 30, 2007 Ok well I dont know how to approach her in class, because she sits TWO seats in front of me and there is this guy interfereing with my would-be girlfriend, he keeps talking to her and making her laugh and stuff, I have no clue how to get around HIM to talk to HER. This guy does look like a freak though, haha, im not trying to bo mean or anything but he scares me. I dont know if he would be too much of a problem though or not, but he DOES make her laugh and stuff I couldnt tell if she might be interested in him or not so... Link to post Share on other sites
