Findind confidence

Recommended Posts

Well, it really depends on your personality. Most underconfident people, I'm almost positive, are shy people, so I'm assuming you're quite shy, or at least a little bit.

Work on your sociability. This has to be the hardest part. Learning to talk to strangers:rolleyes:

Another little thingy I like to remind myself is that "All negative experiences are learning experiences."

Start doing more activities that are out of school, join group organizations or perform group activities. This should force you to become more social. That's how I did it.

If you have any personal experiences you would like answers in solving or assisting, then we could help you build upon those experiences in particular. It would make improving your confidence easier as well IMO.

It requires you to reprogram yourself and get out of your comfort zone. If your shy you need to make yourself smile and speak to people when it isn't your natural personality to do so. You need to think well of yourself ( but not cocky ) and show the world who you are and the things you have to offer. In the long run you will be happier by opening up and not being shy and timid. Risk taking is hard but if you want to change you have to risk something to get what you desire.

You just do them until you master them, then you have confidence.

That's not much of an advice to be honest. Anyways, yeah like what yosef and yamaha said. You have to think more positively about yourself, than the negatives. It sounds hard, but take a step at a time
